Had the bee hoon & maggi goreng here, and both were generally good. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating.

This is the favorite indian restaurant that my friend recommended. The food is authentic and delicious. This is truly an amazing experience when trying out indian foods. The kitchen has a clear glass so that customers can see how foods are prepared.

Have been here for few times already, my husband love their banana leaf set. The gravy is tasty even not very thick. I couldn’t say this is the most delicious banana leaf I’ve tried. But the one I like already close down and this one is the most affordable, nearest and decent. The staff all friendly especially the manager/supervisor of the restaurant. We usually take the set for two people which had fried chicken, mutton varuval, chicken varuval and tofu sambal. The vegetable come with set also delicious especially the fried cucumber (i think) / bitter groud. Don’t know which one. And of course I like their salted chili. We usually ask for tairu to balance the taste of the food. 1 cup of tairu is RM5.20. Also enough for two people.

We were here for a late lunch and the place was not packed. My son ordered the chicken Briyani 69 and Ice milk tea. I ordered the chapati and the tosai rawa and hot tea tarik. Even though the place is called Original Banana leaf, the food are not served on banana leaf. Instead food is served on a green plastic plate. It doesn't really matter. What is more important is that food taste good and price is so affordable. The total amount I paid was RM35.00. The place is nice, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and efficient in the delivery of food and drinks. I would definitely check out this outlet again soon. As IOI City Mall opens up a new wing, it is actually much easier to park at the new wing's parking area. It is huge and parking bay is easily available.

Pros Papadom crisp 10/10 Mutton was delicious (it's rm20 though) Refillable banana leaf as usual Not that crowded on weekday evening Looks clean and nice near to the water fountain symphony in ioi mall. Con The only disappointment was the fried red thing was cucumber instead of my usual favourite bittergourd. And chicken Curry looked a bit like the dhal.

Had their signature banana leaf set meal that cost RM12. For me the price is reasonable. The taste was ok. I enjoyed it having it here.

Ordered briyani chicken, home thosai, mango lassi, and masala tea. The briyani chicken was decent. The flavors were there, but nothing really stood out. Just a decent briyani, which is fine. The home thosai, however, could be improved. It was slightly hard when I was hoping for that soft, fluffy texture. It wasn’t bad, but it felt like they just reheated a previously made thosai instead of making it fresh (though I could be wrong). Imagine how good it would be to have a freshly made, fluffy home thosai with coconut chutney and dhal curry, then end it with a hot cup of masala tea! The chutney was really good, the dhal curry was fine, and the masala tea was just how I like it - not too sweet, with a good balance of masala.

Mamak shop food selection, but with higher quality. Roti only available during breakfast, and later after 3 pm. Decent chapati, Puri, and chicken varuval. Teh tarik average. Very orderly and clean, as expected of a shopping mall food outlet.
